I decided to go with an owl theme this year. A colleague shared an owl lantern with me to get me started on my own owl lanterns. My thoughtful, hardworking husband was a trooper helping me cut out the owl parts.
I focused on the eyes. I used a variety of circle punches, but had to freehand the eyelashes. Glue dots also came in handy when assembling the eyes.
Made my first trip up to my classroom today. Hanging the owls up in my classroom was just as fun as making them!
They were a "hoot" to make! "Owl" be in touch!
